I have been using this app for 6 months and it finally gave me the power to track my finances all in one place. It has changed my spending habits! I would rate it higher but lately the app won't sync for me! It just spins that it's "downloading data" but never does it update, no matter how long I leave it! Can you fix this?? Full Review

A friend recommended this to me and my roommate to help us get our finances under control. Over the past couple months, it has been an immense help in keeping track of our income, bills and spending. My only issue is that I don't know how to delete a bill that has been paid off or canceled. EDIT: Since the last update, I have not been able to look at any transactions. Nothing has updated since November, and honestly my budget is starting to suffer from not being able to see what I'm spending where. This was nice since I could set several small budgets for food, crafts, bills, rent and the like. Now I'm relying on my bank app, which doesn't let me categorize like this used to. Full Review

Haven't been able to log in to the app in a couple of months now, since the last Android update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app now but it still tells me my credentials are incorrect. I was a fan of the app for years. The mobile website is a pain to navigate and having to go to my desktop to use the service isn't likely to happen. I wouldn't recommend Mint with this issue. This is a great app, BUT...I use my credit card for just about all of my purchases to maximize my cash back rewards, and Mint doesn't show pending charges in my budgets and breakdowns. That means it's always a few days behind (untill the charges process completely). I can see pending transactions in the app, so why can't they be included in my figures??? This is a constant frustration with financial apps for me—its not just Mint, which is why I only knocked off one star. The day you can keep up with my actual current purchases, you'll have made this the perfect spending tracker! Full Review

Has been very useful keeping track of my spending. Wish I could add cash on hand, but that's not too bad since I don't usually keep it for long. The main thing is relogging into my back account since the app doesn't recognize questions that well. Full Review

Basic functionality, but that's it. Loaded with ads and offers, pushing bill payment capabilities, but can't track investments with any reliability or provide quality investment reports/charts. Mint doesn't even integrate with the company's other products (TurboTax)! Full Review

I had the old app until I had to get a new phone. When I pit this new one on it is at least two days behind and when I changed the password on one of bank accounts it will not give me the option to update the new password so it hasn't and updated in two weeks and now never will. I want my old app back.this one sucks. UPDATE: I swear this app is getting worse. It no longer syncs and if it does it takes days. No real time view any longer. Only reason I still have it is because I haven't found anything else. As soon as I do, this one is done! Full Review

Constant errors updating accounts, balances are usually off, really slow updating the accounts that do work, often freezes entirely forcing app shut down. Important accounts I have they don't interface with. Heavy and pushy ad use. Unhelpful notices of account activity. Needs a total overhaul. Support has been unhelpful. Contacted them numerous times. My income budget doesn't show on the app. It does in the web version. Your customer service tells me to update my os to version 9.0. Not for Android. Please try again. - Brian Tan, you're way off. This is a mint function, not a function of my bank. Several updates and still not fixed. I have the email chain from your tech support acknowledging the issue and still no fix. Full Review

Decent tool to help manage your money. However: getting increasingly more spammy with notifications of which you can't opt out. Spotty synchronization with accounts. Requires that you unlock the app every time you switch away and back, even if for only 1 second - highly annoying. Used 230M of BACKGROUND data this month - it just lost its background data privileges. Full Review

This could have been such a perfect app if it's auto categorization wasn't complete garbage. It keeps categorizing my Metro train purchases as groceries each time and it does not seem to learn and correctly recategorize future transactions even though I'm constantly correcting it. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to report the error and bugs in the app. There are a lot of misformattings that I want to complain about, but there does not seem to be a way to send customer feedback. First nothing in this app does anything that it says, then after waisting all that time, and linking all your information, you can't close your account. There's help options, and that's about it. The help options tell you about the imaginary gear links and the imaginary settings links, that you can't find, while you only playpretend to delete what hopefully is only an imaginary account. Which hopefully didn't steal your real money from your real account a while your busily distracted when a wild goose chase attempting to prevent them from robbing you blind. Full Review

Poorly, categorizes spending. For example, being told I overspend on "home" when making my regular mortgage payments. Something else that is a personal annoyance when they have very specific requirements for your password; which is the case with the new update. I literally have about 10 different passwords I use between work and personal use as a result so I regularly must use the forgot password option. Full Review

I don't mind it. I haven't found one that shows my bank statement breakdown this nicely. I wish there were more Canadian items to add (national student loans) the ability to link to Equifax and Transunion would be nice.... Faster updating of transactions would be nice (usually updates late night even when I try to force it - my bank shows thi g's posted on my acc right away though) Full Review

On Android 7.1.1 with a Moto Z2 play. Battery usage is way too high. After 13 hours of usage, mint had taken up 24% of my battery. I had the app open for maybe 20 minutes of that. I do use the widget which is supposed to update only every 4 hours. Overall I love mint for managing my finances/budget, but this battery usage is unacceptable. Full Review
